Trommels / Rotary Sieves

Products from the downstream system are screened & sized using trommels / rotary sieves.

Usually utilised on either the non-ferrous residue or dirt (ASR) fractions.

Specification, diameter, length and holes sizes are all determined by factors such as:-

• Material to be processed
• Throughput (volume flow rate)
• Plant layout
• End product requirements.

Sieving sections within trommels are bolt on and are therefore easily interchangable when new sections are required.

Trommels systems can be supplied either "in line" or as stand-alone units.

Drums

Cleaning drums can be incorporated into the downstream system at higher throughput rates to provide residual cleaning of the ferrous and non-ferrous products.
